What is Pirate Night on Disney Cruise Line?
What is it?: A themed pool deck party where all characters/crew members are in costume as pirates. There's a short show on the pool deck stage, and it typically ends in the fireworks at sea! DCL is the only cruise line to have fireworks
Do all sailings have it?: No, but most sailings in the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Bermuda do. It is not on Alaskan or European itineraries.
Should I dress up?: Yes! Most bring pirate-style clothes, and some bring full on costumes. If you simply don't want to purchase or pack anything, no fear! Disney will provide pirate bandanas to everyone. We relied on those bandanas, because we were already on a Halloween cruise with a costume and simply didn't have luggage space for another!
